LeAnn Glass grew up dancing at Bluefield Dance Theatre under the direction of Randy and Nancy Lamb, where she realized her love for dance and for teaching children this continual art form. LeAnn opened her own studio in 1991 in Blacksburg, Virginia, entitled Blacksburg Dance Academy and successfully trained dancers of all ages for 15 years. While in Blacksburg, her students performed for Virginia Tech Basketball games, in Cozumel, Mexico as part of a dance exchange program, as well as College Bowl game half time shows.
LeAnn has choreographed numerous award winning routines for soloists, duos and groups and has won many awards on both regional and National levels. Her students have gone on to dance on college dance teams, Off-Broadway shows, cruise ships, and performance companies as well as to teach dance to students of their own.
LeAnn is a level one certified dance instructor through Dance Educators of America, is certified to teach Ballet, Jazz and Tap through Dance Masters and continues to further her dance education through master classes. She is also the founder of Protege Dance Competition and its sister event, Day of Dance, which allows her to travel throughout the Eastern United States hosting dancers of all ages, as well as to be a continual part of numerous theatrical productions such as Red Hot Broadway , Show-n-Tell; A Classroom Musical and The Dr. Oz Healthcorps Benefit Gala. LeAnn is married to Chris Glass, has two handsome boys, Landen and Greyson and a beautiful daughter, Rachel.
