We offer a variety of classes for ages 2-18. Our curriculum follows a comprehensive program from Sept – May culminating in a spring recital to give dancers the opportunity to perform in a professional grade production. Creative Movement
Ages 2/3
(30 min) Pre-ballet/creative dance class. Introduction to basic ballet positions and dance using music, singing, props, stories, and creativity to activate imagination, increase motor and cognitive development, foster musical awareness and self awareness, enhance socialization, and establish a sense of joy through movement. This class does not perform in the recital, but an in-class parent observation period will be held the last week of April. *This class is only billed for tuition Sept-April.
Combo A
Ages 4/5
(45 min) Age-appropriate technique in ballet and tap with a focus on vocabulary and skills to increase motor and cognitive development, foster musical awareness and self awareness, enhance creativity and socialization, and establish a sense of joy through movement. Includes foundations for correct posture, balance, rhythm, and stamina in addition to the development of healthy self-esteem. This class performs a ballet dance in the recital.
Combo B
Ages 6/7
(1 hr) Age-appropriate technique in ballet, tap, and pre-jazz with a focus on vocabulary and skills to increase motor and cognitive development, foster musical awareness and self awareness, enhance creativity and socialization, and establish a sense of joy through movement. Includes foundations for correct posture, balance, rhythm, and stamina in addition to the development of healthy self-esteem. This class performs a tap dance in the recital.
Combo C
Age 8
(1 hr 30 min) Age-appropriate technique in ballet, tap, and jazz with a focus on vocabulary and skills to increase motor and cognitive development, foster musical awareness and self awareness, enhance creativity and socialization, and establish a sense of joy through movement. Includes foundations for correct posture, balance, rhythm, and stamina in addition to the development of healthy self-esteem. Improves range of motion, physical health, and emotional maturity. This class performs one ballet dance and one tap dance in the recital.
Ballet
Ages 9 & up
Class length ranges from 40 min – 1 hr 45 min depending on age level. Classical technique taught with emphasis on proper body, foot, and arm placement. As student progresses, more complicated combinations, jumps, turns, and leaps are included. One dance in the recital.
Tap
Ages 9 & up
Class length ranges from 40 min – 1 hr depending on age level. Emphasis placed on articulation, clarity of sounds, rhythm, timing, coordination, and style. One dance in the recital.
Jazz
Ages 9 & up
Class length ranges from 40 min – 1.5 hrs depending on age level. Stylized and energetic movement with an emphasis on lines and strength. Classes include stretch/flexibility, conditioning, walks, leaps, jumps, turns, extensions, across-the-floor patterns, and combinations. One dance in the recital.
Modern
Ages 10 & up
Ballet co-requisite required. Class length ranges from 45 min – 1 hr depending on age level. Elements from contemporary styles and methods. Focuses include weight, isolation, suspension, contract/release, and basic human movement. Students will be exposed to a variety of techniques including Bartenieff Fundamentals, Cunningham, Limon, and others. Through committed experimentation, students will push their boundaries of expression through movement and improvisation. One dance in the recital.
Lyrical
Ages 11 & up
Ballet co-requisite required. Class length ranges from 45 min – 1 hr depending on age level. A blend of ballet and jazz vocabulary with contemporary elements and emphasis on expressivity and storytelling. One dance in the recital.
Hip Hop
Ages 5 & up
Combo co-requisite required up through age 8. Class length ranges from 30 min – 1 hr depending on age level. Fun, energetic style derived from a variety of street and other popular forms to upbeat, age-appropriate music. One dance in the recital.
Acro
Ages 6 & up
Ballet or Combo co-requisite required. Class length ranges from 45 min – 1 hr depending on age level. Dancers are guided towards increased flexibility, balance, strength, and muscle control. Focus on fundamental acrobatic technique and skills such as handstands, chin stands, elbow stands, cartwheels, back bends, walkovers, balance and contortion tricks, and more, all to each student’s individual level of experience. One dance in the recital.
Pointe
Ages 13 & up
Ballet co-requisite required. Students will be evaluated for Pointe shoes throughout the course of Ballet 4. If they receive an invite to be fitted for pointe shoes, they will begin pointe the following year (traditionally around Ballet 5). Teachers will evaluate progress for safety and determine whether pointe shoes are worn for recital.

Adult
Ages 18 & up
This multi-disciplinary class is geared toward former dancers turned adults who miss dancing with us! Includes a variety of styles such as ballet, tap, jazz, and contemporary styles as well as stretch and conditioning. Recital optional.
This class meets once a week. You may attend regularly for $50 per month via our auto-pay schedule on the 10th of each month Sept-May. Or, you may purchase a class card to use on a drop-in basis. Once you have created a Parent Portal account with us and enrolled in the Adult Class, let us know if you prefer this option and we will create a class card for you. $60 for 6 classes. Simply click Drop–In Class to the left in the Portal, check the day/s you would like to come when ready, and SignIn. When the teacher takes attendance, the fee for that class will be deducted from your class card.
